Some people believe that the ‘idea' of the existence of a personality named "GOD", is mere fiction;

Only if that were true!!!

If you believe that what you see about yourself in a ‘mirror' every day is real - and not fiction; then, it would be ludicrous to think otherwise about the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.

This unique and Sovereign Being, not only created all things - visible and invisible; He has also decreed a day when He’d 'roll down the curtains' on what we know as the planet Earth.

Our Heavenly Papa’s got a brand new bag! But before He brings out the new, the first has to go.

And here’s the notable part of this whole exercise -

'Not all those who had the privilege of walking on this first Earth, will be allowed access into the second. He’s making a new "Heaven and Earth" for His “chosen ones”; the ones who accepted the Lordship of His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

Believe it or not;

Only those redeemed by Jesus’ blood will get access into the Celestial city. All others, go to that “other place”!

Without the Lordship of Christ, your educational achievements, earthly richies, political connections - and even your insolent atheistic dispositions, will only schedule you for that “other place”. That solitary place of torment, initially created for the “fallen one”, and his demons.

However, to those of us who have joined God’s family, we can gladly look forward to the blessed hope of the new and coming dispensation.

Asides, from the splendour and glory which we wait for, we are also very enthusiastic about how this event will be heralded.

There’s a showpiece event that has been slated by HE, who sits enthroned amidst the Cherubim - as a “welcome hurrah” for all His sons and daughters!

This event is what we call the “Rapture”.

The law of “gravity" held sway for many years, until it got displaced by the law of “aerodynamics”.

Well, if you’re keen on all these ‘science stuff’ - and you have also accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour; then, you’re in for a thriller!

A “once in an eternity” masterpiece!

When Jesus re-appears to take us home, we all get to go up - and not come down. We defy both the laws of gravity and aerodynamics. More thrilling is the “speed” at which we do go up!

Apostle Paul calls our speed of movement - “in the twinkle of an eye”.

In our own modern english language, you could paraphrase it as the “speed of thought”.

"If you can think it, you can be there!"

And as we gracefully move up with a pace that outruns the speeds of ‘sound' and ‘light'; we also get our bodies transformed from this ageing, sickness-prone, death-attracting mortal skins - into a more glorious body!

Our expectation is just, mystifying!!!

It is written:

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”

(1 Corinthians 15:51-58)

All the events scheduled to happen as the climax of this "present age” is unveiled, have been duly prophesied.
